Malaya Motions // video ads

AI video ads, made in Malaysia, delivered in 48 hours.

Most agencies here will quote you three weeks and a shoot day. We make the ad with AI, cut it like producers who have done this for ten years, and send it back the day after tomorrow. When AI is the wrong tool for your product, we will tell you that instead of selling it to you.

What AI video actually changes

It is not cheaper cinema. It is a different tool, and it is good at one thing in particular: making many versions of an idea quickly enough that you can find out which one works.

Volume stops being the constraint

Five hooks for the same product costs about what one costs. You run all five, keep the one the platform likes, and stop guessing which opening line works. That is the whole game on TikTok and Reels, and a shoot day cannot give you it.

Speed changes what you can react to

A trend has a useful life of a few days. A festive window closes. If your creative takes three weeks, you are always advertising into last month. Forty eight hours means you can answer what is happening now.

Testing gets cheap enough to bother with

When each variant costs real money, nobody tests. They pick one, spend the budget, and hope. Bringing the cost of a variant down is what makes testing a habit rather than a luxury.

The edit still decides whether it works

Generation is the easy half. Pacing, where the cut lands, what the first frame is, how the text sits, when the product appears. That is ten years of production work and it is the part no prompt does for you.

When AI video is the wrong choice

Plenty of people will sell you AI video for anything. Here is where it falls down, so you can decide before you pay rather than after.

  • Your actual product has to be in frame, exactly. Packaging with fine print, a specific label, real texture a customer will compare against what arrives. Generated footage gets close and close is a refund.
  • Food that has to look like the food. AI makes beautiful food that is not your food. For a restaurant, that gap walks in the door and complains.
  • Your face is the brand. If people buy because of you, a synthetic presenter costs you the thing that was working.
  • The room is the product. A venue, a clinic, a space someone is deciding to visit. Show them the real one.

In all four cases the answer is a camera, and we own one. Ten years of production is the reason we can tell you which half of your job needs a shoot and which half does not, instead of forcing everything through whichever tool we happen to sell.

How the 48 hours works

HOUR 0

You send the product, the offer, and who it is for. A WhatsApp message is enough. No brief template to fill in.

HOUR 1 TO 6

We write the hooks and the script. You see them before anything gets made, because this is the cheapest point to change direction.

HOUR 6 TO 36

Generation and edit. Vertical 9:16, captions burned in, sound designed rather than a stock track dropped underneath.

HOUR 48

Delivered, ready to upload. One round of changes included, because the first cut is rarely the last one.

Work

The roselle film below was made for MUKU Tea and is shown with their permission. The three smaller tiles are demonstrations rather than client campaigns, and are labelled as such.

MUKU Tea · 20 seconds · shown with permission

MUKU Tea

A roselle tea brand, four generated shots, cut to a script written before anything was made. The calyx, the pour, the colour releasing, the finished glass. Captions carry the argument because most of these are watched with the sound off.

Made start to finish in an afternoon: script, generation, grade, caption, master. That is what the 48 hours actually looks like.

  • 1080 x 1920, 24fps, 19.75s
  • One 6 frame dissolve, everything else a hard cut
  • Colour graded across four separately generated clips so they read as one film
  • Also delivered: a clean no-text version, a 6 second cutdown, and a poster still
Demonstration

Skincare. Product-led open, hard shadow, single hook. The bottle never leaves frame.

Demonstration

Café. Atmosphere first, steam and window light, location and hours would carry in the captions.

Demonstration

Apparel. Texture-led, built for the sound-off scroll where most of these are seen.

What it costs

Nobody in this market publishes a turnaround time and most will not quote you without a call. Both of those are worth fixing. Here is the shape of it.

Single ad

RM750 one finished 9:16 ad, up to 20s
  • Hooks and script first
  • Captions burned in
  • Clean no-text version included
  • One round of changes
  • 48 hours

Test pack

RM2,400 five variants, one product
  • Five different hooks
  • Same offer, same product
  • Built to run against each other
  • RM480 each
  • 48 hours

Monthly

RM3,600 ten ads a month, ongoing
  • RM360 each
  • Reacts to what is working
  • Priority on turnaround
  • Cancel with a month's notice
Why the test pack is the one to take. Five hooks for one product costs less per ad than a single one, because the script and the setup are already done. A production house working from a shoot day cannot sell you that, which is the whole point. You run all five, keep the one the platform rewards, and stop guessing which opening line works.

Questions people actually ask

Is it really 48 hours?

Forty eight hours is the average turnaround on the video ad work, measured from the point we have what we need to the day we deliver. If you send the product details on Monday morning, you are looking at Wednesday. The clock starts when we have the information, not when you first message, so the slow part is usually getting the offer and the audience pinned down.

Will it look like AI?

Some of it will, and for some products that is fine or even useful. Where it matters, we will tell you before you commit, and the fix is usually a hybrid: real footage of the product, generated footage for everything around it. Deciding that correctly is the job.

Can you shoot as well, or only AI?

Both. Ten years of production came before any of this. If your job needs a camera in a room, that is a normal shoot and we will quote it as one.

Do you run the ads too, or just make them?

We make them. Plenty of good media buyers in KL already run accounts well, and the honest position is that creative and media buying are two different skills. If you have nobody, say so and we will point you at someone rather than pretending it is the same job.

What do you need from me to start?

The product, what the offer is, and who it is for. Photos of the real product help a lot. You do not need a brief document, a brand book, or a creative deck. A WhatsApp message with three photos is a normal start.

Who has this worked for?

MUKU Tea, a Malaysian roselle tea brand, is the most recent and it is on this page with their permission. The three smaller films are demonstrations we made to show the format. As more client work is cleared for display it will appear here with permission and with real numbers, not as vague claims.

What if the ad does not perform?

Nobody honest can promise you a result, because performance depends on your offer, your price, your product and your media buying at least as much as on the creative. What we can promise is the turnaround, one round of changes, and telling you plainly when we think the problem is the offer rather than the ad.

Do you work outside Kuala Lumpur?

AI video work is location independent, so anywhere in Malaysia is the same to us. Anything needing a camera is easiest in the Klang Valley and possible elsewhere with travel costed in.

Send us a product and an offer

If AI video is wrong for what you sell, we will say so in the first reply and it costs you nothing to find out.

25 September 2026. The MUKU Tea film is shown with the brand's permission. The three smaller films are demonstrations we made ourselves to show the format, not client campaigns. Every claim on this page is provable: a 48-hour average turnaround, more than ten years of production experience, and the MUKU Tea film shown with permission. No client results and no testimonials are claimed anywhere.
